I have a Kenmore side by siderefrigerator/freezer, model 106-44554401, serial no. SS4354302. Ineed to replace the door seals, and want to do it myself to savemoney.
I looked at some of the how-to videos on uTube, butavailable videos showed model with screws behind the seals, or sealsthat fit into a slot in the door with snaps at the outercorners.
The model I have has a seal that is tightlysandwiched between the plastic inner door, and the metal outer door. I do not see how to separate the inner door from the outer door, torelease the edge of the seal that is wedged in between the two.
Cananyone please tell me how to go about changing these seals?
