I have a bad Dryer Motor p/n 6 3060550-1 this part has been replaced by a Whirlpool p/n. The part I have been sent is a W10410893, which is the same motor, but it has a whole different wiring block on it and looks like I need another part. The connections on the wiring block are different than the ones in my machine and looks like I need some sort of a wiring connector plug which would fit in the new motor wiring block and connect to my old motor wires. It would be easy if the wires I have were the same size connectors (spades) as in the new wiring block, but they are not. Anyone have this problem and how can I solve this?
According to the model number this should be the right motor and it should come with instructions on how to wire it.

That is my problem, after considerable digging around the internet, I figured out that the place I ordered the motor from, neglected to send wiring installation instructions and the three 1/8" shielded female connectors needed to do this install.
Thank you for your answer.
I used have several sets of those smaller terminals. They come with every replacement motor and 9 times out of 10, I was replacing a modern motor and I didn’t need them. Its pretty crappy of them to keep the instructions and terminals. I hope you get it all sorted.
If that old motor has a pulley on it, make measurements and take pictures so you can get it in the right spot on the new motor.
Is there a part number for the wiring block that connects the new switch to the old motor wiring? Is there another way around this problem?
There is no wiring block. The new motor should have came with instructions and three crimp on terminals so you could adapt your old connectors to the new motor.
Thanks for the reply.
I have the Maytag SG1000 stack-able gas washer/dryer and the motor I thought I purchased is w10411000. What was sent was w10410893. It did not come with instructions or any special crimp on terminals.
The instructions I found on the internet follow:
grey wire Function L1 = 1/4 inch Thermal Protector Tab - remove blue jumper lead between switch terminal 4 and 1/4 inch Protector Tab. connect Grey Harness lead to 1/4 inch Protector Tab.
red wire function neutral = terminal number 5 - Reterminate Red and Blue Leads in the same 1/8 inch Insulated Terminal and Connect to Switch Tab 5. Connect the Blue Lead to 1/4 inch Tab 1.
blue wire function heater = terminal number 1 -
black wire function heater = terminal number 2 - Connect to 1/4 inch Tab 2
yellow wire function PushToStart (optional not present in machines with electronic controls - Reterminate Yellow Lead with 1/8 inch insulated Terminal and Connect to Switch Tab 6
Question: Do these special crimp on terminals have a part number and can they be purchased?
Thanks
Somebody is jerking you around. Look at the pics on this page. That stuff should all be inside the motor box.

I am trying to post a message but keep getting an error:
80 Rejection set to: 20
Don’t know what that means.
