Hello everyone and thank you for helping me out!
My Series 90 Kenmore dryer will start fine, but if it is stopped midcycle, the dryer will not start. When the button is pressed you will hear a buzz sound.
The local appliance shop guy thought that it might be my timer. I attempted to rotate the timer one rotation clockwise, and attempted to start it, but no luck.
I cleaned out all the lint (and small fortune in change) inside the dryer and found no signs of burnt boards/connections
The only way to get the dryer started is to let it cool down for a few hours.
My guess is that my motor is fine (it starts and runs when cold), and i think it may have something to do with my thermal fuse. Even though the dryer gets heat when started, it won’t restart once the dryer has been run for 30 seconds plus.
Any ideas? help? suggestions?
