If could be a frozen water supply line.
Had that problem here twice (the fridge in our office breakroom)… The water supply line was frozen. We solved it by removing all contents one Friday and leaving unplugged with the doors open over the weekend. It worked fine on Monday.
I know this is probably not feasible due to a lot of food…
