The repair guy took out his multi meter and made sure everything was getting correct voltage.
{no water} -
The repair guy gave up and suspected the water line inside the door was frozen due to some unseen crack allowing freezer air into hose compartment.
{no water} -
TYhe repair guy ordered a NEW LEFT DOOR?!
{no water} -
The repair guy said to call them back when the door arrives.

Owner takes matters into own hands
{no water} -
Owner disconnects the water line from the back TOP of the refrigerator. In this model it goes into the filter and comes right back out of the fridge on a disconnect.
{Press paddle with line disconnected and water fills cup from the back.} -
Owner places mouth onto the refrigerators water intake line and sucks the water out of it…
{It sounds disgusting but it’s fresh water} -
Owner reconnects white plastic water inlet line on the TOP back of the refrigerator and holds the paddle down again…
{{{WATER! WATER! WATER! WATER! WATER! WATER! WATER! WATER!}}}
Thoughts:::
An air bubble probably got trapped in the top water feed line inside the refrigerator and caused back pressure preventing water from making it into the door reservoir water from feeding into the system. If I allowed the repair man to replace the door, he would have had to pull the water line completed out of the fridge which would probably have accomplished the same thing. But repair guys aren’t equipped with a water hose vacuum and I’m sure you would be more disgusted by watching a repair man suck the wtaer out of your water inlet hose than just replacing the door with a new hose attached to it (suck free)…
