I’ve replaced the door latch assembly (handle and switches) and the control panel.
The dishwasher fills with water and "tries" to begin the wash cycle, but all I hear is switch(es) engaging with a hum for about 2-3 seconds. This switching and humming repeats a few times, then the lights/buttons turn off on the front.
Sometimes, I am able to get it to finally start the cycle by opening and closing the door, but I usually give up after about 20-30 times of this and try again later.
If/when I finally am able to get the wash cycle to begin, there is another part where it must check a switch again later on in the cycle (Rinse cycle maybe?) and it always fails there too… so, I’m left with a tub of water, and un-rinsed dishes.
Replacing the door latch assembly and control panel didn’t improve functionality … it’s still behaving exactly as it did with the old parts.
Are there any other serviceable parts I can investigate?
