I ordered the thermal cutoff kit (Part# AP3094323) and inlet thermistor (Part# AP3868411) for a Whirlpool Dryer (WED9200SQ0). The high limit thermostat does not have the cut out for the inlet thermistor to clip onto.
See attached picture of orginal and new high limit thermostats along with inlet thermistor.
Are these the correct parts?
If so is there a way to install the inlet thermistor?
…Was the proper inlet thermistor (Part# AP3868411) ordered??..

The inlet thermistor comes as a part of the high limit thermostat. The part number I posted is for the cut-off kit which includes the high limit thermostat and the thermal fuse.
You should wait until Monday to reorder it and get the credit for the wrong part.
I do not work for Appliance Parts Pros but I send them e-mail and someone will contact you.
Gene - Thanks for all the help, part# AP3874047 did not come with the thermal fuse. Can I use the one from the original cutoff kit (Part# AP3094323) I ordered.
I also keep getting the F:25 (Inlet Thermistor Shorted) error code even after replacing the parts and checking that the wires going to the inlet thermistor are not shorted to each other or grounded.
Is there a way to reset the error codes and see if the code comes back?
If it does I assume the only thing to do is replace the machine control electronics.
My washer has stopped filling with water. It will spin and agitate but no water . I’ve checked the fuse and replaced it and checked the hoses. They are not blocked. I’m not sure if the problem is with the lid switch or with the water control valve.
