Washer leak

The washer leaked all of the water onto the floor. It happened during the night when the last load was washing so I don’t know where it leaked from but it was a lot of water. I took it apart to see if it was a hose. The hose was fine. The water pump looks fine. Can the water pump leak out that much water? Is there any where else that much water can leak from other than hoses or water pumps?

Don,

What do you mean "All the water", we’re talking 30 to 40 gallons for a full load size per cycle ?

Are you sure the drain pipe is not clogged or partially clogged and backing up ?

Is the drain pump running in the spin cycle(no water) ?

Did you pull the hoses off, and check for a small article(sock, hankerchief, etc.) stuck in the hose or tub fittings ?

I can’t see a loose hose fitting or leaking pump, leaking that much water, without it being obvious.

You may need to remove the front panel and run the machine through a cycle, with HOT, extra soapy water, until the leak appears, and can be traced.

Good Luck,
