the power light is on, no feature of lowing temperature, no noise (ususally there is some noise when it is working).
Hi.
Most likely it’s bad thermostat (cold control). To check lightly knock on the controls knob with screw driver’s butt, or to be more scientific you can check the continuity between two thermostat contacts. If no continuity - replace the thermostat.

Good luck. Post the results.
Simon.
Thank you for the information. but where is the thermostat?

On the freezer’s side at the bottom look for the round knob where the control panel with the light is.
Thank you.
Simon.
There is nothing on the side at the bottom as you described.
But i opened the cover for the panel on the side at the lower part. After the plug was put in, I heard a light "pop" sound coming from the part of the big "pot" (i am not sure if this is the condensor?), then some noise started which sounded it worked, but just after 10 seconds, the "pop" sounded again, then all noise stopped. I hope this details could provide you more information.
Please guide me, i need the freezer as soon as possible.
Thanks!
Hi.
Based on information you provided this time the problem may be bad compressor or it’s starting components.
To check the compressor you need a multimeter and basic knowledge how to use it.
With out that you can take a shot of replacing starting components.
The PTC starter MCCF5/7WBX-57
The compressor protector QDH4311G/MP
Here are the breakdown diagram and http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5560062
Good luck.
Simon.
If it is due to compressor, it will be expensive, also it is too complicated to me to change the parts (actually it is out of stock) I think I’d better just buy a new one. Thank you very much though. Have a nice day!
