had my fridg worked on 4 months ago …the starter went out .service man said the new starter would last the life of the fridg.well compressor is not starting again.so i called parts house to see if oem part was in stock it was he asked if they had put in a 3 in 1 or oem starter i thought it was oem .he told me that if they used a 3 in 1 it may have now taken out the compressor.techs are finding out that these three in ones are not working so well.
question : how can i find out if the compressor is bad or the starter is bad with out buying new parts and not being able to return them.
