I am trying to convert from a 3 prong plug to a 4 prong plug. The terminal block on the dryer only has 3 terminals, and there is a white wire coming from the wire harness and connects to the frame on a green screw. I assume this is the ground, but I don’y know what to do with it when hooking up the new 4 prong cord. HELP!! It is a stackable washer dryer.
Disconnect the white wire from the frame and connect it along with the white wire from the cord to the center terminal of the connection block. Connect the green wire from the cord to the frame under the green screw.
