I have an Amana ALW990EAW washing machine.
I replaced the pump and belt in the unit.
The belt I was sold was incorrect (short), exchanged and installed.
The unit goes thru all cycles, fills, wash, drains, spin etc…
The problem is it only agitates counter-clockwise instead of 1/4ccw then 1/4cw.
Any ideas?
P.S.
There is a small 2 wire female plug to the motor W/V and W/O.
I did not change any thing on it, but the male plug V and O is keyed
so O is connected to W/V AND V to W/O.
As I said, this setup is from the factory and was working prior to pump replacement.
