I have a Whirlpool Washer model # LSR7233BW2. Everything in the washer works fine except for the Agitator Mover (the top part of the agitator). I opened it and tried to look but could not find any parts which are missing or broken. Initially during the wash cycle the agitator mover used to move and rotate the clothes from top to bottom. Can anyone help with this please…

The Bake element has to be replaced. No doubt about it. There is a chance for the control board to be bad too. In that case the cost of repair (if you do it yourself) is going to be about $230 - $240. Your decision should be based on the condition of the unit and price for a new one.
