I am not sure if my question went through so trying again.
Bottom of agitator spins back and forth but top of agitator does not spin
so it does not pull clothes down from top of drum to bottom to agitate them for cleaning. Any ideas on how I can fix this. thanks

You need to replace the agitator dogs part # 80040. Remove the fabric softener cap and the bolt beneath it then you can get to them.

To replace the dogs, I pull out the agitator, put my feet on the bottom, and yank off the top section being careful not to scatter parts all over. I replace the dogs in the holder, and turn the upper section upside down to replace the holder in the upper section.
