The agitator (lower section) only turns in a counterclockwise direction. It does not move in a clockwise direction at all. The clothes get twisted around the agitator and are difficult to remove. When machine is agitating there is a loud noise from around the base of the machine as if something is not ratcheting properly. Spline on shaft is good and agitator splines are good. Think it is transmission problem. Opinion please.
