About two weeks ago, dryer stopped before a cycle ended and would not restart. Unplugged and allowed to rest overnight. Tried to reuse the next day and it would not start. Timer felt different than normal - more free spinning and no ratcheting sound. Replaced the timer unit and it worked fine for two weeks. Yesterday it stopped mid cycle again and would not restart. Left unplugged overnight to cool and it works again this morning. My next guess was a thermostat, but figured I’d get others’ opinions first. Thoughts?
