My Amana washer LWA50AW doesn’t spin, doesn’t agitate. I installed a new belt, still no action. What’s wrong?
Take off the belt and observe the motor when the machine is in agitate mode. If it is turning, disconnect washer and see if the transmission pulley will turn. If it will not, and it probably won’t your problem is in the transmission assembly.
