Amana Refrigerator - arm for ice maker

My tenants broke off the arm on the ice maker in the Amana Refrigerator. Don’t know the model off hand. Purchased in 2005 and has bottom freezer. I found the part: AP4006947. How do I put it back on, or is there a way to bypass and turn on the ice maker? Thank you.
