Hi,
I have an Amana stove, set to run on Propane, that I have a few questions on:
1: When moving it after buying it, the front glass in the door detonated. (I found out that if its white glass, don’t try putting black in, as its the wrong size)
But when the glass broke, there was not the heat shield that shows in the oven door breakdown sheet. My order for one is back ordered. How essential is it?
It was running without one, but did that contribute to the shattering of the outer door glass?
2: Also, on the door, are the two plastic rods, about an inch long, that fit on the upper screws that hold the glass on the oven door, set? These rods have different ends, and I am not sure which is the correct way they are supposed to be installed.
Thats it.
Thank you.
