Just past the 5 year mark with this Jenn-Air Dishwasher. For the last year the control panel has been acting up, not allowing to choose some options/cycles but the unit still worked on other cycles. Lately only a few cycles have been working and we have had to reset the unit from the circuit breaker from time to time to keep it working.
Now we cant get it to start a cycle at all. There is still power to the control panel, it lights up on some buttons - you can get the 2h, etc delay buttons to work and choose only one cycle - the china crystal cycle but after you close the door it doesn’t start and the lights go out after a minute or so.
Turning off the circuit breaker does not reset the unit.
Probably unrelated, but the dishwasher has been a little noiser than usual while running, making some strange griniding noises, like plastic gears stripping.
Trying to decide if this needs a new circuit board, control panel or both?
