Bad Vibration during spin cycle

I’m in need of some repair help with my Maytag Washer. The machine has a very bad vibration and moves around the floor when in the spin cycle. I pulled the front cover off and all of the springs seem to be just fine. What else can I check to resolve the problem.

Thanks John

Hi John,

Here are a few things you have to check first:

[FONT=Arial][SIZE=2][LEFT]Weak floors can cause vibration and walking.

Legs level and secure.

Be sure rubber feet are installed on leveling legs.

Check that the leveling leg lock nuts are tightened.

Check the belt.

Thanks for the information. I tried everything on your list Level, Belts, Locking Nuts etc. but nothing worked. Do you have another suggestion that I could try?

Thanks

Thanks guys.
I’m throwing in the towel. I checked everything I could possibly check. Besides having the bad vibration the washer has developed a bad leak coming from the center of the machine. I think I’m just going to buy a new one.

Thanks Again
John
