Our Kitchen aid ice maker will make ice fine for a few hours then kick into clean mode on its on and will not kick out. We can turn it off and back on and it will do the same thing . We replaced the Assembly switch but didn’t help. Any one know what else we might do?

BA,
I take for granted, you did run a complete clean cycle recently.
If that’s the case, you’ll need a control board,
[part]AP3772424[/part]
You’d have a bad accumulation circuit in the control board circuitry, and the unit thinks it has filled the required amount of times, and thinks it needs to be cleaned.
Good Luck,
Thanks so much.

BA,
You’re quite welcome,
It was my pleasure to assist.
Howdy all,
This is my first post here. I have a Kenmore 363.157250 dishwasher that needs the lower spray arm assembly rebuilt. I have ordered all the parts to include: Lower spray arm, Lip seal, split ring etc. My question is the following:
- How do you install the lip seal? Does the gear seperate from the hub so the seal can be installed? The lip seal is 561 on the drawing.
- What is the purpose of the split ring? This appears to be a nylon washer about 2" in diameter with a small section cut out of it. In other words it is not a complete circle. This split ring is installed between the spray arm and the power adapter. Water is gushing out of this area. This is item 546 on the drawing. Is it simply sandwiched between part 501 (Spray arm) and 546 (Power adapter)?
I have noticed a lot of water gushing out below the spray arm thus reducing the effectiveness of the spray arm.
Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance.
my washer spin cycle not working everthing else seem to be working good just want spin out i chech the motor coupling thay seem to have been changed alread can u help me out
Worked well suddenly quit ? Are all the electrons in the universe staying in their ground state?
Go ahead and check out the clutch. Operate the machine with the cabinet off and by pass the lid switch and see if the clutch is turning. If so try replacing the clutch lining.
