bellows seal in compact Whirlpool

Hello,

I am replacing the bellow(s) seal in the door of my washer because it was so moldy I couldn’t clean it. Instructions from another site told me to remove the front panel and kick plate, but they are spot-welded on. The space is so tight with the front panel in place that I can’t get enough leverage to push the tube from the seal through the hole it goes into. Any suggestions? I also need advive about cleaning out the mold in the rest of the machine.l

Thanks,
Paul

Here is a link to the service manual for your model.

As for the mildew, I suggest you call APP and ask them about washer cleaning products they stock which may help you with the mildew. I would also contact Whirlpool even if the machine is out of warranty and this can be a severe problem; it has already been the downfall of many a front loading model.
