The control panel has gone blank on my oven but the buttons still beep when you touch them and the lights work in each oven. when you press the button to start the oven, it beeps 4 times and nothing further happens. I was able to get it to light up by itself but after a few minutes, it beeped twice and went dark. Is this a main board issue or some sort of fuse on the board that can easily be replaced?
Most likely the problem is a bad control board.
- The part number for the control board is AP3767567

Is there a way to test the circuit board? if so, how?
No, there is no way to do it.

Now the panel is completely blank and the unit beeps 6 times every 30 minutes or so. I check the transformer and noticed that i have continuity between the two blue wires but nothing across the two red wires. further, i have 124 vac at the red wires at the transformer and about 4.6 vac at the pins of these wires on the control board. I was also getting the error F2 E1 but the ribbon was attached. I disconnected it and tried again, but the same problem occured. nothing happens when i touch any of the buttons either.

"the two red wires" is the primary windings and if it’s open then the transformer is bad.

I’m afraid I did not get it clear.

Gene,
I tested the transformer again and confirmed that the ohm meter "beeps" across the blue wires (continuity) and does nothing across the red wires. I tested the voltage at the primary windings (red) and had 124volts. Would a bad transformer also cause the keypad not to function? The clock will come on every so often and read PF with the time (which is correct) and when i try to clear the PF fault, none of the buttons will work. Could it be a bad transformer as well as a bad keypad? I removed the keypad and didnt see any burnt or broken leads.

Unfortunately there is no way to perform any reliable test for the control board and/or the control panel. According to the information you posted I would replace the transformer and the control panel keeping in mind that the control board can be bad too.

I’ll give it a shot. I will replace the transformer as well as the touch panel. By the way, i keep getting the F2 E1 error even though the ribbon is attached.

Per the tech sheets the cause of the "F2-E1" error code can be a bad control panel as well as a bad control board. Unfortunately there is nothing more accurate in the manufacturer instructions.

Should i still replace the transformer? I was thinking about ordering the transformer and touch panel and then replace one piece at a time hopefully getting the unit to work. Then return the items that I dont plug in. Is this advisable? Will Appliance Parts Pros accept returns? the part numbers i was going to order are AP3043894 and AP3968801. What do you think?

Gene, I have replaced the touch panel as well as the transformer. now, the "start" button will not work but every other button seems to work fine. I have not replaced the electronic control board yet, is it possible that could also be bad?
Did the new transformer fix the display problem?
Open the control panel and double check the ribbon connection into the control board.

I ordered both a transformer as well as the touch pad. I replaced the transformer first without replacing the keypad but it did not fix the problem at all. I then replaced the keypad and i thought it was fixed but the "start" button is the only one that doesnt work now. could it still only be a connection issue with the ribbon?

Yes, it’s very possible.
I did not get clear if the display is fine now.

the l.e.d. is very clear but now i notice that the following buttons dont work: "lower oven", "min down", "hour down", "start" and "light" do not make a beep when i touch them. I removed the ribbon, cleaned the contacts with an eraser, and then powered the unit back. nothing has changed. the only part i have not replaced is the control board, can it still be an issue?
You did not have to clean the ribbon on the new control panel. I hope you used a pencil eraser because a pen eraser can damage the ribbon.
With the new control panel and transformer there is nothing left but the control board.

yes, i did use a pencil eraser and it did not fix the problem. I am expecting the control board in a few days and will report back when i make the installation.

Gene,
I have now replaced the control board, key pad and transformer but the same buttons on the key board do not work. i have tested the thermal fuse and that tests ok. what should i try next?
You should talk to the Appliance Parts Pros team to exchange the control panel (key panel) under the part warranty. Most likely it is defective.
