Bosch Dishwasher won't drain

My Bosch dishwasher won’t drain water from the bottom. I have cleaned both filters and I know the outflow hose going to the blue assembly underneath is unobstructed. The hose going back to the garbage disposal is also unclogged, flexible and open, at least the last 2 feet of it. There is no obstruction in the opening into the garbage disposal. Please advise what I should do. I am very handy, and this is a horrible time to have this happen, as I have house guests coming in two days, and I need to get this working again.

Thanks, reisman

Thank you for the response. Can you tell me where the drain button is on this Bosch. Is your answer specific for this Bosch? The relatively short hose exiting the bottom of the tub, just below the filters goes into what I believe to be the pump. It is plastic and blue in color, down at the bottom. Does the unit need to be removed from the cabinetry to get to this, or is there another way to get to that pump without having to unbracket the whole dishwasher? Any specifics you can give me will be most appreciated. The voltages will also help. Thanks, reisman

Washing machine agitates, then goes into the drain cycle but it only drains but does not spin, AND, the belt is not turning and is being "burned "because it was "de-tensioned" by the Idler Lever when the drain cycle activated it .

Why did the belt get "de-tensioned" and , then not engage the tub so it spins ???

Any help will be greatly appreciated !! Thank you !!

Hi Brian,

Check the wire harness at the freezer top door hinge.

Check the freezer light switch.

I don’t get it. This washer was working when I took it out of the house. My sister was moving to texas, and couldnt take her Maytag washer with her, so she offered it to us as sort of a house-warming gift…it was only three months old  … so I took our Maytag Performa out, planning to stick it on craigslist…now that I want to sell it, it doesn’t spin  …all other cycles work fine, will fill and drain water, just wont spin it out in a spin cycle… bought the the thrust bearing kit from this site, because all web research indicicated that was the problem…but it still isnt spinning…today i search and find a woman in the same situation with her atlantis washer, and the guy tells her if it doesnt spin, she needs a new tranny… if thats the case with mine, id like to know how the hell a transmission dies sitting in the garage doing nothing?! …and of course, I’m annoyed I just spent 30 bucks and a half hour for nothing…
of course, maybe I’m not doing this thrust bearing kit right…but I did follow the directions… thoughts, comments, suggestions anyone ? Thanks !
