My Bosch dishwasher has been having some issues recently:
It is leaving a film on dishes; Then it wouldn’t drain properly. I found some debris in drain area and cleared it. I dumped some water in washer and it drained. Now when starting, it drains continuously, w/o water filling. The impeller at the fill is spinning, there is water to the appliance (I cracked open line at dishwasher connection and water came out). Now I just notice some water under the dishwasher that wasn’t there before.
Any help or direction would be appreciated.
Thanks
you may have a leak ,possibly the water valve or one of the hoses
I am having the same problem. My Bosch SHU3305UC was running last night and got stuck in cycle (drain cycle? – not sure). It ran like that all night and there was a terrible smell in the morning-- hot motor smell.
Does anyone have other recommendations?
misterfixall thought it might be a leak-- wouldn’t there be standing water somewhere?
Lastly-- just saw this from Sears Canada about a recall on this model. It says:
"It has been discovered that an electrical component in the dishwashers can overheat, posing a potential fire hazard."
