Both the refrigerator and freezer will stop cooling

I have ED25PQXDW01 Whirlpool refrigerator. Both the refrigerator and freezer will stop cooling and warm up. When I turn the temperature adjustment for the refrigerator to the off position and then back to a setting of 3 or greater it will start up again. Both will remain running if both the freezer and refrigerator temperature adjustment are set to almost max cooling. Food in refrigerator freezes.

Did you find a fix for this? I have a similar Whirlpool frige doing the exact same thing. What did you do?
