My Maytag double oven recently had the bottom oven bake element go out in dramatic style (nice sparks and red hot), but was quickly turned off. It was easy to recognize that it needed a replacement bake element, which I replaced.
Once replaced, I turned on the oven but the bottom oven does not heat on the bake cycle. It is getting partial power (110v) to the element, but the oven will not heat. Are there any suggestions I can try without replacing the circuit board?
