I am installing new stainless top to older but very good white Thermador gas cooktop. I have the five new brass "TUBE" pieces (P/N 189321). The old ones did not appear to have had pipe dope or Teflon tape on them. Should I put pipe dope or Teflon tape on these brass screw-in tubes or just install them the way they came from the factory>

This is probably too late for the original poster, but when replacing the venturi tubes it’s best to only apply a little anti-seize grease on the threads.
