Burners work, oven & broiler do not

Greetings,

I’ve read a couple of other threads on this problem (specifically http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/13139-whirlpool-oven-wont-heat-up.html), and ran the recommended test on the solenoid on the gas valve. The reading is supposed to be 216 ohms between each of oven/broil and common, and mine are both reading 201-202 ohms.

As the title says, the top burners work but neither the oven nor broiler will light. No error codes. When attempting to start the oven, there are 2 clicks from the control panel, but no other noises/clicks. Preheat timer counts down like it has started and completes with a single beep, as it normally does.

Does this sound like the gas valve, or is the reading close enough? Could the spark module and/or control board also be the culprit with these symtoms?

Thanks in advance. You guys have a great site here.

Jeff

Does anyone know if the 201-202 Ohms is far enough below spec to cause the problem?

I added this info when I created the thread, but in case it’s not showing up on some browsers, the Brand is Whirlpool and the Model is sf362lxss0.
