Glass lid on washer suddenly cracked while lid was open. We are not sure how this occurred; nobody was around to witness the event. Washer was loaded, lid up, and then left unattended for several hours. When we returned lid was still up but badly cracked. Is this a common problem with the glass lids? Is there an easy alternative lid to install?
