Cafe Series Dishwasher - Added Heat lights up and seems to run a cycle

I have a Cafe Series dishwasher and I’m hoping that fixing it will be cost effective, as it’s probably the best dishwasher I’ve ever owned. I’m very handy and have a wide variety of tools, including electrician’s tools.

Here’s the deal:

The only button that will light-up is the "Added Heat" button (see attached); all others are dead and do not appear to do anything. If "Added Heat" is pressed once, it will fill with water and run a cycle. If pressed a second time, it will drain the dishwasher in what appears to be a "cancel" mode.

Per the manual, I have reset the dishwasher by turning-off the power at the circuit breaker. This has not fixed the problem.

I have not yet pulled the dishwasher or performed any ohms/voltage tests on anything. I was hoping for some tips before starting this project. Any and all advice will be appreciated.

Below is a manual which may be of some use to you. Although it is not for your unit it is for that general type of dishwasher.

Thanks for the service manual. I test the keypad as well as the door switch. Keypad gave bad test results. I replaced keypad, but exact same issue. Any other suggestions? I hate to purchase a control board if that might not fix it.
