Have a GE Monogram trash compactor (no owner’s manual) and the ram is stuck in the down position. The motor just runs and runs. The problem is I can’t get the door open to trouble shoot the ram. I see hinges on the left side of the front door, and a latch of some sort on the right. If I can get the ram to go up just once, I can pull the container out, and investigate problem.
