I’ve been removing parts on my Whirlpool Ultimate Care II washer, trying to figure out why it won’t drain completely. I opened the control console, removed the case, disconnected the drain hose from the pump and checked the hose, pump and wall pipe for clogs. Now I want to remove the inner basket to see if there is a clog underneath it, but it won’t come out. I’ve taken off the agitator and spanner nut. All the videos show the basket pulling right out, but mine won’t. Is it stuck and, if so, is that why it won’t drain?
