Placed order #2724492 then 2752701. The first order was for a circuit board part number automatically selected by your system. I was initially shipped 8564543 Whirlpool Part Number and noticed the different position of Con1 and Con2. The part number in the D/W is 8528172 and I re-ordered this part number but was shipped 8564543 again. On the new part they are perpendicular while on the original they are parallel. One pole is missing with a note I learned in chat that P4(Y) will not be used. The new circuit board does not cycle properly. Heavy duty will only light up after the ribbon wire is initially seated then never again. When I push energy saver, the drain starts. It would seem to me that the problem is not in the control panel as it should only be switch on get led then switch off led off. I am confused. Is there any logic in the control panel that could per chance be causing this?
Don’t understand this one, but replacing the control panel as well seems to have fixed my problem. New control panel would not work with old circuit board, old control panel would not work with new circuit board. Can’t imagine both would blow at the same time, but it appears that is what happened. If the part number had changed on the control panel then I could chalk it up to new part incompatibility. Now I start my stopwatch for the motor to blow and will have replaced everything but the sheet metal:rolleyes:
