I have a Kenmore fridge that I noticed the freezer was thawing and refreezing. I pulled out and removed back panel found condensor fan running constant and clicking sound from compressor but it doesnt turn on. I checked compressor and had 6.1 ohms on one pin and 3.8 on the other which is good I believe. I purchased the relay assembly and replaced but it will not kick on. Is there anything else it could be that I’m overlooking?
If you installed the factory service part and wired if like the old one, you have a damaged compressor, not worth replacing.
