I believe the problem started after I noticed the water bottles and soda was getting ice in them so I turned down the control for the refrigertar temp. A few days later I noticed water leaking from the bottom and the food in the freezer was thawed. Since then I’ve check to see if the compressor was coming on. It tries to start but the overload breaker kicks it off. Any ideas?
If the compressor is hot and not running, I would replace the start device inside the cover, a small, black item AP3601983.
From the symptoms, you might have a hard starting compressor, or some other problem. If you have a meter, you can verify you are getting voltage to the compressor.
