I have a GE PSH23NGPAWW refrigerator. It intermittently runs about 15 degrees in the freezer, and 45 degrees in the fresh section. I replaced the evaporator fan a few months ago. It’s working much better than it did before, but it’s still running warm as described above. Having the ice maker on seems to trigger warm temps more often, but it also gets warm even with the ice maker off.
I ordered a WR49X10152 main board kit to see if this will improve things. Unfortunately, when I installed it, the compressor would not run and the temperature just kept getting warmer and warmer. All diagnostics on the electronic control panel passed. I did not use the extra wire included in the kit.
I switched back to the original main board and the refrigerator is cooling again. I think I got all the connectors right, am I missing something?
Did you follow the directions on the new board to clip a thermistor wire per the serial number prefix?

No. The instruction sheet that came with the new board does not mention clipping wires and did not list serial number prefixes. It talks about replacing the red/white twisted wire to the inverter, but I am not sure those instructions apply to my model.
The new wire is much thinner than the original, and looks like it might need to be clipped in order to remove it.
I’m reluctant to proceed until I understand why that wire needs replacing or why a thermistor wire needs to be clipped.
I would suspect a bad board. If the original factory packing tape was missing
on the box, it was a returned item.

The board was fine. The PSH23NGPAWW has an inverter. I had to install the replacement wire included in the kit. The instructions were not clear at all.
The refrigerator is working better than new with the redesigned main board. This model was never recalled, but it should have been. It’s been nothing but trouble from the beginning with slow ice making, a slow evaporator fan that eventually failed, and warm temps.
I’m just grateful that it’s finally working like it should now.
