I have this error F2-E5 when trying to start bake, broil etc…Reading forum is sounds like it might be the ERC that needs to be replaced or Cancel Key drive line open. Problem is the ERC part is no longer available anywhere. Can I fix it myself? I had this working at one point just by unplugging and replugging. Also the self clean does not work. Could this be why control panel has error (the latch)? So any suggestions on what to do or where I can get parts? Thanks
Also, sometimes after I unplug and replug I will hit bake and start but the start shuts it off. The panel lights up like a xmas tree at first so wonder is the panel is ok. and maybe a connection?
I FIXED IT!!! After reading another post of yours I found where to disconnect the ribbon to the ERC cleanned it with a toothbrush and rubbing alcohol. Also, found out that to make sure you push the connector in very good because the first time I tried the same error came up. Then I pushed on the ribbon connector and it worked.
