control panel not working

after a storm my control panel on jenn air not buttons worked, could not use oven only on display power loss had electricity to it. called you phone attandent said must be 85f07p233-60 got it next day put it in and it is still the same says power loss not buttons work. can you help what can i do!

Looking at your picture of the oven, if you replace the control board, then if there is a touch pad, that would most likely be your issue. I can’t tell by the picture if your oven has a touch pad. But, if you had to hooh up a ribbon from the control panel to the board you put in, then you do. If you did not, there is a high limit switch on the oven, most likely in the back, that could be the problem. If you, don’t have a touch pad, then you can kill the power to the oven, and pull the wires off of the thermostat, and there will be 2, and put them together, and put some tape around it, so the terminals don’t hit metal, and then, turn on the power, and see if it works. If you have an ohm meter, you can pull 1 wire off of the thermostat, and see if you get continuity. The part # for the high limit thermostat is 74010818. Hope this helps.
