Please Help Me with my Control panel problems!
The lights on the cycle selection portion of the control panel stopped working.
My dishwasher will not run with the ‘norm’ ‘light’ ‘rinse’ or ‘heavy wash’ buttons
It only will function on the ‘Auto Wash’ button selection.
It will probably stop working all together, very soon!
Any suggestions will help.

I had a similar problem with my MDB7601AWW. Now none of the buttons work. I just ordered a control board.

I replaced both the control board and top touch panel. My problem went away with a new touch panel. The ribbon cables on this panel is very cheap.
Have a maytag from 2009 the keypad only lights the delay wash. I dont want to buy keypad and circuit board both. Which is the most likely problem? Maytag said probably control panel. Is that the front keypad or circuit board?

I guess I don’t need to know about purses. Right now I need to know if the front panel is called the control panel on a maytag dishwasher or if the board is called a control panel…Maytag said they’ve had problems with control panel but want around 300 to send a repairman and replace it. I can do the work just need to know what i’m ordering.
Took the front panel off the maytag d.w. and found the ribbon wiring to have burned spots halfway between the control panel and circuit board. It seems the only way to get this ribbon wire is to buy the control panel. Any answers where just the ribbon wire can be purchased.
