I have a used NG model Kenmore dryer in very nice condition I bought that I want to test but the only convenient arrangement to test it is to use propane . Can I buy a propane conversion kit for this model 110.78652700, install it, test the dryer, and then put the NG parts back in without causing a problem ? What is the p/n of the kit ? Does it take a special fitting to hook up to a 20 pound propane tank ?

Yes, I don’t see why you can not do it. This conversion kit comes with the installation instructions.
