Cycle problems

My dishwasher will fill, start for a split second, then drain. It will do this twice more before continuing with its cycle. It’s across all cycles and options on or off. I disconnected the pressure switch and the problem went away. I found a replacement switch, however the problem still exists. Now there is food residue on some of the dishes. I’ve cleaned the filter. But nothing has changed. Thoughts?
