Okay, so when I press the indoor ice dispense button, I hear the engine whining, but don’t hear the auger moving through the ice (and obviously no ice is dispensed).
The only thing I can think is that I did accidentally let a bowl fall into the ice tray, which may have obstructed the auger. I removed the bowl, though, and can’t get any ice to be dispensed.
What now?

Your model number is missing a couple digits at the end so you will have to find the correct unit in the Matching Model Numbers on the above page.
I am assuming that you have checked the ice in the bucket to be sure that it is not all frozen into one solid mass.
Remove the bin and check that the auger moves freely.
I would check the motor coupling (item 8 in section 05).

If the coupling is good then odds are that the motor is shot.
