Dishes not cleaned

My Maytag dishwasher (MDB9100AWQ) seems to be running, but the disches are being cleaned. I suspect the Spray Arm have deposits stoping the spray from being effective. I have a few questions:
*]How do I remove the upper basket? It’s starting to rust and needs replacing.
*]What’s the best way to clean off the deposits? My guess it it’s best to remove the arms and clean them separately.
*]How do I remove the lower spray arm?
*]How do I remove the upper spray arm?

I’ve read you "just pull them off". Is using a crow-bar like tool suggested or recommendated?

Thanks,

For starters the top rack from this site(and this is the cheapest place to get it) is part # AP403825 @$87.63
To remove this rack just remove the cap at the end of the track and slide the rack out. To remove the spray arms Look at this diagram (http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?diagram_id=658107&&model_id=47136) remove part # 34 for the lower arm and #31 for the upper arm.
Hope that helps

Yesterday when I was drying my clothes I smelled a burning smell on and off thoughout the day. Last night, the dryer stopped heating. The dryer still turns, howerver the clothes never get warm (they stay cold)…and in return are not drying. Which part do I need to replace? The Heating Element…or could this be a different part? Thank you!

Side by side refrigerator door does not have the feel of a vacuum seal as the freexer side does. Everything seems to be cool/cold enough by temperature in unit.

Door closes but is not tight feeling as it usually has been.

that Vaseline "trick" is NOT a fix, its a handyman’s jerry rigged idea, not to mention a big mess every time you open the door. A qualified refrigerator repair service would instead, actually inspect the door gasket to frame seal all along all four sides of the door, pull the fridge out to see the side against the wall. We would then take a look at the bottom inside portion of the fresh food section with a flash light, to look for any scratches that would be the result of the fresh food door rubbing along the inner liner at the last point of closure. Normally this occurs when the nylon cam riser on the bottom of the door wears out or breaks apart completely. this cam riser system uses the doors own weight to close completely.

This I can almost guarantee is your problem. and one that will cost your self less than $10 in parts, though i do recommend you replace the lower hinge as well, and if the door stop looks cracked, i would replace that too. if you replaced all on your own, less than $40 i think.
