We purchased a Maytag Quiet Series 100 and I have tried dishwashing cleaners, etc. BUT no matter what-the bottomm row gets clean But not dry and the top row doesn’t get totally clean and has residue on the items. I have even put cups and glasses on the bottom row. Anyone know what’s up?

But not dry
This could mean that the heater OR it’s hi-limit thermostat OR the control board are shot.

Could be a number of things:
- Water temperature too cold. Check the heater and hi-limit with a meter.
- Not enough water entering the machine, most units fill to just under the heating element.
- Dirty food filters impeding the water flow. Clean the filters.
- Something in the pump is shot.

I am experiencing a similar problem with a Quiet Series 300. At the end of the wash cycle, the glassware (top shelf) has granular deposits caked inside, mostly at the bottom of the glasses. I have tried cleaning the machine–clearing the filter and water-jet apertures on the washer arms and adding rinse-aid to the washer prior to each use, but I still have to scrape/rinse items when I am unloading it. It is mighty frustrating, and I would love to hear if there is solution to this problem, short of replacing the dishwasher.
I have the same problem with Maytag 200 Series! Is there a recall on these Lemons!!!
