The dishwasher smelled like burnt plastic. The lower rotator arm had broken and the plastic was sitting on the element. After clearing the melted plastic, the dish washer was restarted. It goes through the wash cycles but boy does it get hot…so much so the inside plastic tray was discolored. I did check the control board on the door …ntohing burnt. I am stumped. What is causing the the element to get so very hot?
