I have a kitchen aid dishwasher that does not dry the dishes after any cycle. Additionally it will not heat the water for high temperature settings. I have tested the heating element with an ohm meter and it tests ok. I have also tested the thermostat and it tests ok as well. (closed) Since kitchen aid does not supply a wiring diagram, I don’t know if the next step is to replace the control board or the timer. Any help would be appreciated.
If the parts test OK and the wiring is good all the way back to the computer/electronic control, logically its probably the bad part. W10854215
Thanks for the reply! I located the directions for accessing the diagnostics and was able to reset the electronic / computer control. It had set an error code for a draining problem. I assume it was an isolated event so after resetting I will run the dishwasher through a cycle and see if it dries the dishes. Will update forum. Thanks again for the reply.
