I replaced the control pad about 3 to 4 years ago with one from you guys. it arrived fast and replacement was easy.
Now, I am having anther problem with the control panel or something else. None of the three wash cycles will light up when pressed, but the heated dry light does, which is normal if you press a wash cycle. Therefore, it made me think that the lights are just burned out for some reason. The second thing is that the the start/resume button will flash normally when i have pressed a wash cycle and then press heated dry to cut it off. The next step is to press the start button. This trigger the machine to begin when you shut the door, after few seconds. Now, you have to reach your finger up under the cabinet to press the start/resume button. and after the machine begins. it runs as long as ever, and sounds like it goes through all cycles. but , when you open up, the soap dispenser has not opened.
I have pressed and held cancel for 10 seconds. I have switched the circuit breaker off, and back on after 10 second. I have gone through a reset sequence of high temp scrub, heated dry off, high temp scrub, heated dry. Shut the door and pressed cancel. Still, none of the three dry lights will light when pressed. Right now, we just put soap in the pre wash and run the machine twice.
What do you guys think? Another control panel? Can’t believe that they only last three years We run the machine about 3-4 times per week, and are away from the house 2 months per year.
