Today the washer was leaking furiously onto the floor. I drained it and all drained fine. The outlet to the disposal seems to be working fine. I thought it was fluke so I began running it again (testing while empty) and it seemed to be working ok until about mid-cycle when I noticed leaking again. When I opened it up the water level was twice as high as the float and then the water really started coming out (as you can imagine). I "cancelled" the cycle and water began to pump out, but it didn’t complete so leaking continued. When I opened the washer I noted that the inlet was allowing water back in. This continued about 2-3 times before I finally turned off the inlet and hit "cancel" again so that the water was finally all cleared. No idea what the problem is. The float "seems" to be working but I don’t know for sure and don’t have a good way of testing without taking the whole basin out to get underneath to test. I have seen people talking about the timer perhaps being bad. Need help!
